Fall Ballet Showcase 2026
The showcase will feature selected excerpts from the classical ballet La Bayadère, followed by Food Chain, an original contemporary work created collaboratively by students in the Choreography course.
La Bayadère - Selected Excerpts
Originally premiered in St. Petersburg in 1877, La Bayadère is one of the great works of the classical ballet repertoire, choreographed by Marius Petipa to music by Ludwig Minkus. Set in an imagined India, the ballet is celebrated for its dramatic storytelling, virtuosic variations, and elaborate ensemble choreography.
This performance brings together students from UNH’s Ballet I, Ballet II, Ballet III, and Pointe classes, alongside the UNH Ballet Company, presenting selected excerpts from this iconic ballet.
